Whoa!

Hey, guess who's back...?

Yep, this broad!

Life has been so busy for me, hence the reason for my absence from Blogland.
I've been seriously SWAMPED churning out new earrings and artwork and this and that, and also the other.

So what have I been up to? Well...

I've found myself permamently attached to this bloke:

(he is the raddest, EVER.)

and now I'm here (and will slowly be taking over):

Now I'm the happiest I've ever been!
Happy = creative!

I've been working on plenty of art...

This pissed off tiki piece was done in colored pencil and ink via brush, and the background is brilliant purple metal flake!

I wish I had a better photo of this. Again, another metal flake background.
This one has been sold, but I may be doing more like it.

This piece, titled "Want Some Candy, Little Girl?" was shown at the California Screamin' 7 show back in May. I am so glad that this piece found a good home :-)

Okay, so a bit about the earrings I've been churning out! Excited to tell everyone about these...

The scalloped teardrop! These will be available in four different color schemes. The one pictured above is one of the schemes (I can't recall the exact name. Sorry for being so scatterbrained!). Can't wait to share the fashion pics of these babies! For now, I am offering these in nearly all of my colour schemes (there are 24 in all!).

This is my corrugated shape, and the biggest earrings in my range. I DO recall this colour name... it is Atomic! These will eventually be offered in eight different schemes.

And for those of you with gauged ears... I can set you up with some glittery stuff for your lobes! This is a pair of plugs that I created for a dear customer of mine. These have been a best seller for me! I didn't realize that so many of you out there have gauged ears. I had so many gals bummed out that they couldn't wear my earrings, but I remedied that problem! They can be made in any style EXCEPT my regular small teardrop.

The newest shape in my stable are these vintage-styled convex teardrops. This particular scheme is called Dream Lover. I also have these available in Walkin' After Midnight. Four additional colour schemes will be available soon!

Now these... I am WAY excited about these! My switchplates will be exclusively made to order through one of my vendors and available in several different colours.

I started making these because I had always seen vintage ones, but never in the colours I needed for my home. Have I made any for myself? Of course not... I've been too busy making them for my lovely clients :-) You'll hear it here first when these will be available.

Also, watch this space, as we will be vending at various upcoming car shows. I will announce it here!

Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!

Right now, I am only doing these single plate styles... but if you are interested, I can send you pics of what can be done and we can discuss colours, etc. My email address is misstayva@gmail.com

Those corrugated earrings are awesome - almost identical to the vintage ones!

I love the switchplates - are you all doing GFI plates too, or no?

Thanks, Erin!

I will be doing those in the future, perhaps once car show season simmers down.

To everyone reading this, My Baby Jo now stocks my switchplates!
